AISI 446/2Cr25N is one kind of high chromium ferritic stainless steel, with high Cr content, better oxidation resistance than Cr13 and Cr18 types of ferritic stainless steel, especially suitable for use under the condition of temperature fluctuation. Because of the ferrite arrangement of this type of steel, martensite arrangement is not obtained during quenching.
